Life is my pleasure! I try to stay positive and have fun with this journey and embrace all that God has put in front of me. All of the challenges and awesome times. I am a mother and wife living out my photography passion. A passion that finally found me after so many years of just existing, partying and not knowing what I was doing with my life.
I don’t eat meat, unless it is White Castle…which really isn’t meat so it doesn’t count. I love watching talent shows like America’s Got Talent or the X Factor and have found myself watching those shows from other countries. Google Romania’s Got Talent at 3 o’clock in the morning. Very interesting stuff.
People’s stories are so intriguing to me. Where people are from, their family history and traditions. So I ask a ton of questions when I meet someone and if you get me in a cab, best to worn the cabbie because I will drill him/her with questions.
I currently have been listening to folk/indie music and when I find an artist I like I usually wear them out by listening to their songs over and over again.
I’d rather buy clothes and furniture from a consignment shop. Not only to save money but I love the “hunt and find” of those types of stores. Like finding treasure. Old, vintage beat up chairs are my weakness.
I am getting into film cameras and can’t wait to start some projects using my Grandmother’s Polaroid 230.
My son and his old soul keeps me on my toes. I drive him crazy with impromptu photo shoots and he keeps me laughing with his impersonations and sweet nature.
Traveling is also a passion and I have hiked all around the US and plan on not staying in one place for too long. I get antsy and need to experience other cultures, see other terrain. There are so many places and people in the world and every time I am out of town it humbles me. Either because I know how fortunate I am or how sheltered I can be. There is a “photo tour” road trip being planned for next year…hopefully in an RV with the entire family.
I find inspiration in people and in nature, in other photographers and in those who are not afraid to live without boundaries.
I have faith in people.
God is my driving force, my foundation and my salvation.
So here I am, spilling all I am to you. Here is all my “crap and lovelies” that have shaped me and keep me inspired and motivated to stay actively living.
